My baby's 21st birthday

Even though she wishes she met me AFTER her 21st birthday (for very silly reasons), I am very glad I had the chance to spend her birthday with her.

It started with dinner at a great Thai restaurant in Pasadena, Saladang Song(Song means two in Thai, even though it should mean great, cool, awesome...), some of our closest friends joined us for dinner, we could not invite all of our dear friends because we don't want one of those 20 people tables where someone has to shout to be heard by everyone. The food was great, the decor very nice, the service was so so but they did sing happy birthday to my baby and gave her a nice little ice cream dessert, which she prompty finished (good job!).

Then it was off to Harrison's house where we managed to put down 5 bottles of liquor, one of which is a 1.75 liter of vodka, Sean showed off his amazing drink making skills that served happy patrons at Wokcano for 2 years. We played some drinking games, and I had to lose a few times on purpose just so I can drink, the loneliness of a great one...

One of Jessie's best friends came all the way from San Diego to attend her birthday party, that was super sweet of her, I'm just glad she got home alright. Unfortunately for one of our other friends, he left and drove when he was in no condition to do so, and got caught for DUI, hope everything will work out for him...

Baby told me some things about her past that I'm not too thrilled about, but as I said to her, I will not use her past to judge her or hold it against her, I only want to hear her stories so I can know more about her and understand her.

Jessie I love you baby, I will try my best to always be there for you if you let me, I'm so blessed to have someone like you to be in my life. Every time I think of you that stupid grin just crawls onto my face, no matter how hard I try to hide it I just can't help smiling like I just won the lottery, and you know what? I think I did win the lottery :)

Sunday night was dinner with Jessie's mom and her mentor's family at this nice little sushi joint in Studio City, a long ways for everyone, but decent food. She got a bottle of vodka, a bottle of French red and a very VERY flamboyant red jacket for her birthday, we all got a good chuckle out of the red dress :-P

Can't wait to see my baby tomorrow, and hopefully we have many many more birthdays we can celebrate together, baby I love you! :)
